Courage

On May 14, 2013, the Montana Supreme Court overturned the District Court order for new trial. Barry Beach was informed of this decision late in the day on May 14th. He was also informed that the Attorney General’s office was issuing a warrant for his arrest, where he would be sent back to the Montana State Prison to finish serving his life sentence.

Barry Beach did not run.

At Montanans For Justice, it is our opinion that this takes a lot of courage and shows the kind of person Barry is. If Barry was guilty, we believe he would have run. Barry Beach faced his future and turned himself in to the Yellowstone Country Sherriff’s office without incident. We applaud Barry’s courage to face this chapter in his life despite our sincere belief that Barry should never had to face this.
